Our acoustic felt is made from recycled plastic bottles, and the medium density fibre board and oak veneers are sourced from FSC certified forests (FSC is a global standard which ensures forests are managed to to strict environment and social standards).
All our panels are prefabricated in ready-to-install panels canvassing 1.44m2, enabling quick and easy installation for carpenters or the ambitious do-it-yourselfer.

QuietBark's core slats feature MDF; a composite timber material formed from binding offcut wood fibres into panels. This method not only ensures minimal waste and maximum utilisation of a tree, but also results in one of a few carbon neutral building material.

We opted to incorporate next generation textile made from recycled PET bottles to form our acoustic felt backing. Mitigating further unwanted landfill, plastic bottles are collected, rinsed, chipped into flakes before melting and remounding into workable fibres.
